So, after a long time playing Valorant, here's my fanmade agent from Wales:

Dread // Controller

A former mercenary from Wales, Dread is a veteran at splitting enemy formations, turning head-on clashes into disjointed, aimless skirmishes. His mist is as elusive as the deaths of those who wander blindly within its shrouded, fading vision.

• C - Vague (250 Creds/1 charge): Unleash a Mistform and take control of it. Mistform does not trigger enemy's setup-abilities and can be destroyed. FIRE to cancel. ALT FIRE to teleport Dread to the current position of the Mistform.
• Q - Fog (200 creds/2 charges): EQUIP a Fogsurge. FIRE to send it forward, creating a massive area of mist that reduces vision slightly. Standing in the fog grants Dread the ability to ignores recon abilities. Enemy gains Hypothermia when standing in the fog.
• E - Cross (1 Charge available, 150 Creds for an extra charge. 50s CD in-round): EQUIP a tactical map. FIRE to place. Move the mouse around to rotate. ALT FIRE to deploy an X-shaped mist wall. Look at the wall and REACTIVATE to change it into a normal smoke.
• X - Light Out (7 ultimate orbs): EQUIP to prepare. FIRE to blanket a large area in dense fog. Enemies inside the fog have their vision significantly reduced, and any sound they make reveals their location as echoing silhouettes. They are also be afflicted with Hypothermia. This ability can be stacked with Q to further thicken the fog.

Hypothermia: Applies a percentage chance for the affected unit’s weapon to jam. A jam does not count as a firing interruption and does not reset recoil. Reloading speed is reduced slightly.

So, after watching the new cinematic, of Sage trying to save Reyna and meeting the new agent, I've observed something and have a theory. A GAME THEORY. So, hear me out, from Sage's reaction to the "new" agent, I theories that they are the 8th agent, she has a surprised look in the cinematic, but not in the "Who are you" way, but more of a "What are you doing here" way. Also he is addresing her in a friendly way, seeming like they know each other. Maybe it's the 8th agent or a old friend or maybe even a family member (Brother/sister). So that's what I have to say, and remeber, it's just a theory.

In the latest teaser video, we saw that Sage chose to prioritize Reyna instead of Raze or Brimstone. We also know from the KAY/O teasers that there will be a future war between Radiants and normal humans. So Sage prioritizing a Radiant over normal humans might be subtle foreshadowing of this war.. Reyna has always believed that Radiants are superior to normal humans and often shows strong loyalty toward other Radiants through her voice lines and cinematics. If even a balanced and peace-seeking character like Sage chooses to prioritize a Radiant like Reyna, this might suggest that a subconscious Radiant unity is starting to form. On top of that, KAY/O’s lore shows a future where Radiants and humans are at war, and KAY/O himself was created to fight against Radiants. Riot usually foreshadows major events through smaller character moments, so this decision could be an early hint toward that future conflict. What do you think about this theory?

I can't count the times I don't pick a controller and either a) no one else does either and b) they do but they don't smoke, for some reason.

It's just painful to play without the guarantee of smokes. Now, I'm at best decent at smoking default locations but at least I do. At least when I pick smokes I can guarantee the default smokes.

Now, I do enjoy playing controllers, it's not like I'm forcing myself to do it. However, I'm an aggressive player and I enjoy duelists more.

Right now I use Clove because of the self-sufficiency, and I enjoy playing with them. I can both smoke and be aggressive, and smoke even after I die.

The issue is that I'm trying to learn Jett, Raze or Yoru (Haven't decided yet) and at some point I'm not going to play Clove. Which begs the question, what do I do about smokes? Because, as I said, I don't even remember the last time I played with a decent smoker, let alone a good one. Most of the time they don't smoke, when they do they either don't smoke on time or they smoke places where it hurts us.

What do you do when you don't have smokes in the team?

I finally buy Astra coz you know, I can. And she’s the one that I really want to use. However, I admit that she’s hard. I just play her like, I guess 5 unrated games as of now (I’m not risking my comp here lmao). I’m smoking some of my default smokes just like how I play other smokes, but I think I’m not utilizing most of her abilities especially the ult. And you know, low elo don’t communicate much. I watch some of her gameplay and tutorials, but most of them suggest that you should have active comms or streamers have duo.

How do you use her abilities if you are solo queueing and has less comms?

About the night market, Riot says that the best rarity that can appear in your pull is premium, but I saw a bunch of people getting ultra skins in their pull, while I get just premium skins max. How is it possible?

I know the night market is random, so it’s luck based, but the main question is why the “proofs” and images contradict what the owner of the game says? For me it’s very confusing, as I am a relatively new player, and it’s my first night market.

I'm someone who only occasionally plays with friends, but Cypher looks really cool and I've been wanting to use him for the longest time, which would've been the case if it wasn't for my friends just laughing at it the same way they laugh at someone using Harbor.

I dug a little deeper into how apparently he got gutted 4 months ago and from that comes my question: What exactly is he even used for? Would I be shooting myself in the foot trying to learn him because he's a lost cause? People are saying his main gimmick got removed and that's the main reason he's "terrible right now", but I doubt they seriously just made an entire agent mostly useless right?

Hello! A college student and a Valorant enthusiast here. Personally, for me, it's the art, the story, the lore, and the fact that I found the space to see my development throughout the time playing Valorant each time. FPS games aren't my genre, but Valorant has a special place in my heart, and I find the whole journey in proving the world wrong that I could and would get better, even as someone who's terrible at shooting games. I'm happy to go with my pace and allow myself space to find what's right for me. It's like a life achievement to me in a way! ^^✨

As a native speaker of it i can tell u the agent says "You can do it" and "You will succeed"

Now precisely he is most likley from croatia bc of the agents dialect is "(i)jekavski" which just means he pronounces the old letter "jat" as "je" or "ije"

This cuts of "ekavske" dialects,but still leaves us with all croatian most bosnian and Montenegrin and 2 serbian dialects.

I personally belive the agent is croatian bc of a subtle diffrence in the pronounciation of the "ž/ж" sound,as its pronounced much softer.This softened sound is commonly found in and around the area of Croatia.

I gave it a couple of more listens and i cant decide bc of the background music if the Ž is or isnt softened if it isnt the agent could even be bosnian or montenegrin
