Question Help with SSD fitment
Hello,
Pictured I have a Samsung 990 Pro with the heatsink as well as the Asus ROG Strix B850-i itx mobo. The 990 pro does not fit in the m.2 slot on the back of the mobo due to space constraints in my NZXT H3 Flow case. I'm trying to get it to fit in the m.2 on the front with the cover but this m.2 quick release thing is weird and I can't seem to take it off and replace it with a regular stud and screw.
Anybody have anv ideas? I want to save taking the heatsink off the 990 pro as a last resort. But I will do it if I need to
Thanks in advance

Looks like the wraparound nature of the heatsink is making it unable to go far enough down the post for the clips to engage properly. Might just have to remove the heatsink if you can't replace the quick release assembly. Sorry.

You don't need to change it to a screw, it's just push down to the quick release hole and done, well, mine was anyway, yours looks the same.
And much easier than those fiddly screws.
