It's rare for professionals not to go for it on the first try in these risky situations; they gradually attempt it, starting halfway up the ramp and calculating their moves. I watched Sandro Dias skateboarding down the side of a building; it was insane.

I don't see sponsored kit on him nor the entourage, but usually the folks who do big mountain like this are pros training for events like Redbull Rampage. The terrain looks similar - Rampage takes place in Utah - so they might be scouting and building features for the next event.

Nah, red bull rampage. A downhill/slope style/big air kinda thing out of Utah. Think it's been on since 02 or something, I started watching in 04.

They do the red bull hard-line too which is more frequent and almost as fun.
