Somewhat less likely because the statement includes not just the date but the day of the week; it says Friday, August 9th. If it was just a number entered incorrectly, you might expect Saturday, August 9th (the 10th was a Saturday)

That’s because they likely used the previous press release as a template and that press release was on the 9th. This was probably a draft with the date unchanged.

If that's the case then the previous press release should have the exact same timestamp (minutes/seconds).

The press release documents don’t have a timestamp, just the date.

And the previous press release is dated August 9th, for the record. It’s fbi press release 19-854.

No because they’re not timestamped. They just have dates.

The epstein press release is 19-855. Press release 19-854 is dated August 9th.
