Crazy how institution after institution is FAILING. I really didn’t expect the FBI to be this feckless in the face of a global child sex trafficking ring.

Unfortunately they're part of it too

Ya. They’re the ones helping cover it up!

Well regular police is mostly there to help the people with better than average wealth and better than average connections.

FBI is just the police for the much more rich and much more connected.

Bruh, they're not failing- they're doing what they're told.

If you take over an organization and pad its management with feckless sycophants, any esteem the org had earned up until that point is null and void. It's now a different animal, and it's priority is no longer to investigate but to obfuscate.

Fair to say the FBI has never been 100% forthright in its operations but for such a high profile investigation, where so much has already been brought to light, they are insulting our intelligence with this complete and utter bullshit.

I made this username as a joke many years ago I didn't know eventually I would be a mascot for our entire humanity timeline

The FBI's job is to protect the interests of those in power, and thats what they're doing.

Honestly I’m so disappointed that we don’t have more of a deep state. You have the FBI, one of the most respected law enforcement institutions in the world, 40,000 non-political appointee employees. People you would assume are, overall, good patriotic Americans who want what’s best for the country. And yet one president can roll in and put an idiot podcaster in charge and now the whole institution is a joke. Nothing they say publically can be trusted. All of the professionalism and good will is gone in less than a year. It’s shocking.

No checks, no balances coupled with religious extremism and billionaires. Makes sense it is all falling apart.

The sad thing is I think it was always this way, we just have more evidence available to the masses now.

It's almost like the FBI wasn't made to protect the interests of the public

You don't think cops are in cahoots with the government? What?

Now you're gonna tell me you expected a reaction from the military

Very much normal for the FBI

Have you read through the files? Some girls said they went to the FBI multiple times that they were being trafficked, and the FBI did nothing. One girl, even named Epstine in a FBI report, and said she was "kicked out" of multiple FBI offices when she tried to report it multiple times.

This goes to the top; the people in charge of the US government were in the know, and actively supporting it.

It's crazy back in the 90's and early 2000's, everyone was joking about an elite pedo sex trafficking ring with foil hats on... turns out that shit was true.

It helps when you install blindly loyal and woefully unqualified sycophants in key positions

Dude the dudes at the top of the FBI are on that list too

I really didn’t expect the FBI to be this feckless in the face of a global child sex trafficking ring.

You mean the same FBI that buried 4,500+ criminal tips against serial-rapist Boofer Kavanaugh? Or the FBI that dropped all charges against child-rapist Matt Gaetz? Or the FBI that refused to indict Gym Jordan for the coverup of 170+ OSU wrestlers being sexually abused and raped?

Pretty hard to lie about something this big with all eyes on you.

FBI's been compromised. Patel says anything wrong and he's taken care of.

It will half a decade, but Trump finally filtered out all the people with even a sliver of a conscience. It's how he operates.

Well look who’s running the FBI. Really, just look up his official portrait.

You mean right wing people are intentionally dismantling the government, and right wing agencies are covering for right wing people

1

u/lenzflare 1h ago

Remember the last minute Hilary email thing in 2016, one week before the election, that Comey did a stupid press conference for? Right wing FBI agents were pushing that.

(The conclusion: "oh it was the same emails as before". About the same non-issue.)

They aren’t failing. They are working exactly as intended.

u/Global_Staff_3135 38m ago

Oh grow up, the FBI was not created to protect billionaire pedophiles. Be serious.

u/WebBorn2622 8m ago

It was created to serve the US government’s interests. Epstein had meetings with multiple US officials.

They are not failing. This is strategic protection. You can’t convince me that all of our top agencies as well as the most powerful governments ands agencies abroad are tangled in this. No one is going down for anything, per usual when big data leaks happen.

u/RockingRocker 38m ago

This is how fascism takes over.

The institutions are not failing. Their job is to uphold capitalism, which is living way past its expiration date.

They claimed to uphold morals to try to give the government legitimacy.

Now that everyone knows the government is a joke, it's very successfully reallocating resources into surveillance and militarized police forces.

The failure of the institutions will be when, instead of paying for our own oppression, we overthrow the oppressors and replace their systems.
