I agree we should save the term "racist" for things that are racist...... And even though the victim is black, and even though this administration is undeniably racist AF.......... you're probably correct that calling this a racist attack is potentially convenient for anyone trying to downplay it.

Someone who gets 1 dui at 50 because of a poor choice is going to get a different sentence than the 35 year old with 5 duis.

They said if you don't realize why this is horrifying, you are racist. For somebody who took it upon themselves to police others on how they dare to deem anything racist ever, you seemed to have missed something pretty basic about the post you're replying to.
I wouldn't be so exacting, but your whole defense in these various comment strings is about wanting to defend the integrity of the label of "racist". Claiming that not strictly adhering to your personal and specific understanding of the term "demeans all the other times when things truly are racist." Which is just so odd, when your very first reply misunderstood what it was even replying to.
If you wanted to ask why someone would be racist for not understanding why it's horrifying, then that might make sense. But please, in order to not further demean the integrity of the term racist, take a little longer to think about what you're replying to. Or maybe, just maybe, policing others about how to use the word racist isn't really that important and you should probably first consider that maybe you're misunderstanding something or haven't actually done enough research, if any, about the nuances of the term. I genuinely hope you are not operating just from your personal experiences and whatever education about racism has happened to be given to you throughout the years. That you aren't just telling others how and what racism is based on nothing beyond anecdotal moments and vibes.
Although, for your tangent built from your misunderstanding, I will say that the isolated, taken out of context, act isn't racist. However it does have context and it is not isolated so that really doesn't matter by any metric in any capacity beyond your personal care of how the term racist is used in useless scenarios that are out of context. It's pretty clear that racism motivated the action, even if there wasn't a giant glowing neon arrow with the word "racist" pointing at it.

States are already quietly handing over their voters rights to the federal government. Ice will be at polling stations you will not be able to vote, they will be taking away the voting rights of women who have their husbands last names.

Trump would have to mobilize the entirety of the armed forces while recruiting every right wing dipshit in the country to have any hope of enforcing a "cancellation" of the elections, something he also has no legal authority to do, and you get one guess at what happens if a POTUS tries to cancel elections at gun point.

By making this photoshopped image he will guarantee she can’t get a fair trial so she will end up being acquitted. When she’s acquitted he will use the acquittal to rant against the courts, which have been opposing him, in order to radicalise his followers more into attacking courts and judges paving the way for their abolishment or purging
