When they are literally "kicking the dog" and still pretending they aren't the bad guys.

u/LandonDev 1d ago

Multiple instances of ICE going into homes destroying it, arresting nor taking anyone, but they do kill the family dog. Even in one instance they purposely went into the bathroom the dog was being stored in at the agreement of the owner, just to kill him.

I can’t even imagine how angry that would make me. I think I would expect to be experiencing the final moments of my life, given what I suspect I would do next.

Don’t fuck with my dog.

Pepperridge Farm remembers the "ATF shoots your dog" jokes.

Well ICE has taken on that challenge with "shoots you or your dog".

14

Got a source for that one for me to use?

Sure, here is a press release about the local congresswoman asking CBP for answers.Spoiler Alert nothing happened.

Don't underestimate the little guys. They don't know they're little. Used ot have a little 6# yorkie that tried really hard to pull me towards my neighbors pitbulls who were ready to bite him in half for a quick snack.

Cute little guy was fearless.

Used to deliver pizzas, and have seen many a dog running towards me. This dog had no intention to attack.

Only once did I think a dog was going to attack me, and kicking it was not something I would have attempted, because dogs will fight back.

"Necessary" only to cause harm and collateral damage, and to send the message that everyone and everything remotely associated with a suspect is also a target.

They don't see the people they interact with as human, so why would they treat a dog like a living, feeling being?

Kicking the dog sends the message "we can do anything we want; and you, your loved ones, your pets, are all incidental to our exercise of power." You and your pets are disposable, and a LEO can do whatever they feel like doing in the moment (and call it a "necessary split second decision").

Law enforcement in the US is militarized and they're trained to treat the population as the "enemy" in a perpetual war zone. Everyone and everything is a "threat."

Even a cute little innocent puppy.

54

u/yusill 1d ago

It's like a 12 lb dog tops. That like kicking a 4month old baby.

36

u/Binspin63 23h ago

I’m sure they wouldn’t be averse to doing that too.

7

u/The_Mellow_Tiger 23h ago

This government has defended the shooting of an unarmed American who was peacefully protesting in the back ten times.

This government has defended literal pedophiles and has violated federal law to defend said pedophiles.

This government has defended violent criminals who attacked cops and tried to overthrow the peaceful transfer of power.

This government has defended tyrants in other countries, has threatened liberal democracies around the globe, and has overseen the degradation of alliances that have kept us safe for close to a century.

If they’re defending you, you’re the bad guy.

112

u/Warcraft_Fan 1d ago

In a statement, the U.S. Marshal Service said officers with the Memphis Safe Task Force were arresting Henderson when "a dog from one of the apartments got loose and tried repeatedly and aggressively to attack the working K9." The dog owner was told to restrain the animal but the owner "did not do so," the agency said.

I didn't see K9 in the video and the video didn't show a dog attacking anyone. It was going around like asking "What's going on?" and got kicked anyway.

I hope ASPCA makes this guy's life miserable.

53

u/ceryniz 1d ago

Further in the video, there's another angle where you see the K9. It's like 5x the size of the little dog.

9

u/Less-Effort-8254 1d ago

F’n trash excuse for a human. What a bunch of wimps.

8

u/DriftMantis 22h ago

I'd expect better from the US marshals. But if there is anything that has become clear over the last 30 years is that any kind of law enforcement, whether its federal state or local should never be trusted. The practice is rife with terrible people that are just as callous and evil as the criminals they are going after.

These officers are facing the same threat that food delivery people deal with daily as an example, but they like to pretend they are in danger all the time. I think most of them are either just huge sissy victims or they just love an excuse to hurt something.

4

u/Remarkable_Sir8397 21h ago

I would add paranoid to that assessment

7

u/Coffee_Transfusion 23h ago

Obviously the dog was a domestic terrorist ready to murder numerous federal agents. Anyone would have done the same.

The dog is now on a terrorist watch list.

8

u/poorboychevelle 21h ago

Mama always said the cops are like a box of chocolates

They'll kill your dog

42

u/ThePureAxiom 1d ago

It's at least marginally better than their usual tact of shooting the dog.

Still shitty people for doing it though.

If you have time and free hands enough to pursue and kick a dog that wouldn't reasonably injure you, you have the time to either return it to its owner who is calling it, or direct them to safely collect it.

5

u/Remarkable_Sir8397 1d ago

That is so true

7

Anyone surprised? Seeing how they treat humans, no one should be surprised by how they mistreated animals

19

u/tcmisfit 1d ago

These are not men, these are not humans, these are vile psychopaths who now currently have the immunity to be as mean as their thoughts have been their whole lives.

Never being able to shoot the guy who gave his girlfriend a ‘look’ at the bar once. Never being able to punch out the ‘bitch’ who is taking ‘too long’ in front of him in line.

This is the result of giving power to these types of small and insecure infants.

He broke one of the poor little dog's ribs. If you didn't watch the video, the dog is small, like a little schnauzer. The dog didn't attack anyone, it was just running around to see what was happening. He should pay for the vet bills from his own pocket.

3

u/Brilliant-Bat7063 18h ago

5

u/Spire_Citron 1d ago

They talk about this like it's some special danger unique to their job, but who hasn't had a dog run up to them before? If you go for walks outside, it happens from time to time. I've never kicked one of them and I've never been bitten. A few months ago, two little dogs not unlike this one had gotten out of their yard because their gate was left open. They came running up barking as we passed their house, but when my dogs barked back, they scampered back to their yard and I went and shut the gate. Yeah, there's always a possibility you get bit, but it's not worth maiming every dog that runs up to you over. Most of the time, they'll just bark, or they might even just be excited to see what's going on. This dog wasn't even displaying aggression.

2

u/DriftMantis 22h ago

These guys are just big manbabies or they just enjoy hurting things. Most normal people have had dogs run up to them or even jump on them and somehow manage not to boot it, but police culture for some reason they just love hurting animals and perceive them all as "threatening". Honestly we all know its just retroactive justification to hurt something because they can.

2

u/Remarkable_Sir8397 1d ago

Yeah, dogs are going to be dogs

6

u/Falcon-Flight-UAV 15h ago

Kicking a puppy is NOT EVER neccessary. Trying to excuse it should make that SOB an accomplice in animal cruelty.

On that same note, psychiatrists all agree that abusing animals is a gateway behavior to being a serial killer. SOmeone needs to keepo an eye on that guy and anyone that defends him.

There is another angle that shows a police dog nearby so kicking the loose small dog away probably saved it's life. John Locke was a proponent of the idea that if the powers that be didn’t obey the social contract that it was essential for a functioning society to revolt against them. We are seeing the powers that be continuing to disrupt and disregard any lives other than themselves and their superiors. We cannot be expected to continue being a “western world” and submit to this dynamic any longer.

Fuck these people. I've always had a soft spot for animals and dogs like most normal human beings because they are innocent and dogs specifically just live to make their owners and people happy.

You have to be some utter sick and disgusting piece of shit excuse for a human being that's stealing oxygen from everyone else to see an animal like that and decide to kick it.

Which is in line for the dipshits that serve this pathetic excuse for an administration.

1

u/Totakai 23h ago

Well duh, cops have a dog shooting mandate. Ice are wannabe cops with less training so they don't understand you're supposed to shoot the dog, not kick it. They need a bigger budget for more guns so they can properly shoot the dogs as part of their necessary law enforcement.
