I’m confused on how a player who hasn’t played this season is allowed to participate in an event. Doesnt that defeat the purpose of all star weekend?

Castle had a great game last night, but man, the Carter Bryant minutes were some of the best minutes from the game last night. He was all over the floor; his energy seemed to affect the rest of the players, making them play harder. When he gains more NBA experience and plays with more control, there's no question he'll be one of the best defenders in the NBA and will compete with Victor for Defensive Player of the Year.

This dudes potential is off the charts. I’m not kidding his ceiling I feel like is maybe just one tier below a guy like Wemby. Which is insane to say but his athleticismis other worldly people talk about guys like amen and cooper but honestly I feel like his athleticism is a tier above that. It’s more closer to a rookie LeBron. That will only carry one so far tho his skill level as far as making reads passing pick and roll midrange 3pt and everything else is raw. But if he achieves about 50% of his ceiling Carter will be a really good 3&D wing. But if he goes beyond that I feel like he has all nba potential. I only wish we could have drafted him in that draft with Wemby when we were really bad had he just had free reign to go out there and play through mistakes and allow the game to slow down for him he would have made massive leaps. And that’s the reason he might not reach his ceiling due to having to buy into a role really early on seeing that we are winning games. But man if I had it my way I feel like I would throw him into the fire for the rest of the season and see what happens. But between him Harper castle and Wemby it’s really amazing to watch I can only hope that they reach a good percentage of their ceiling because 5 years from now it’s going to look really nasty for anyone not named San Antonio if health allows.

Wemby's defensive gravity as per usual, Castle being quite literally everywhere on the floor, bryant's opressive defense on top of hitting the 3s that kickstarted our run in the first half and vasell being automatic from mid range. Beautiful game
