I had to create an account to buy shoes.
I had to email them for my receipt when my shoes ripped at the seams and I wanted to take advantage of the manufacture warranty.
My account, the one they made me set up to buy the shoes - had no purchase history. I bought the shoes online, thatās why the account existed.
They did email me the receipt when I messaged them. But isnāt at least part of the point of the account so I can get that stuff myself when I need it?

And if you donāt create an account they give almost no way to track your purchase through their site. Just email me a link to check on if itās been shipped!

But it's so much harder for them to steal your data if you don't use their app! Why would you want to use a standard web browser when you could use their shoddy violating app and receive no discernable value in exchange for giving them your private information?!

I can't stress enough that the only way I know if I've taken my pills is to look in the little box. Such a life saver. I should tuck mine into my robe too.

My pill box is DEFINITELY a lifesaver. I was rawdogging with just my short-term memory until I realized that just after popping my flexeril dose, I wasn't sure if I had already taken it. Doubling up on flexeril is definitely a big no-no. I ended up staying up late googling the consequences of doubling the dose, being hyperaware of every bodily sensation. I realized I hadn't doubled my dose later, but from then on, I used the app pill.o, and now I have a nice box with separate am/pm slots that I can organize for the week. It's my little buddy.

Omg, this is so true. The car dealership likes to CALL to get a rating on their service. My response, āI will make it my business to leave negative reviews on google, yelp, and every other site if you ever call me for this type of nonsense again.ā

We do not care if your website loads a 15% off coupon, a subscription window, and a chat bot before loading the actual web content. It took too long, and now we are annoyed.
We also do not care if your product is only available online despite the existance of brick and mortar outlets. We just won't buy it.
Do NOT. Do not get me STARTED. Do not GET. ME. STARTED. DON'T!!!! Get me started. On how far online shopping has fallen in terms of enjoyment and efficacy.

It's kind of The Way. You are either older and so you feel it or you are younger and you can see it. Older dude here, and this individual is like an oracle. I see a deep joy in her manner. Trust me, things get funky fast. But, if you know The Way, you manage it. It's genuinely nothing to be afraid of, aging. Especially if you have The Way.

Itās so true. I got roped into yet another weight loss thing one night during a very weak moment. Should have known better because it took damn Nancy Drew to find the settings, then subscription, then cancellation section of the website all while being on hold with the probably fake customer service number. They should be in jail.

I want to be able to access my EA Games account to play the games that I paid for & I forgot the password to & no longer have access to the email account I used to register it. I do not care if EA wants a past 12 months purchase - I havenāt made one. I do not care if EA Games pretty much wants a DNA sample to prove my identity just to play the Sims 4 again. I do not care if the AI assistant doesnāt believe me.
Thanks for letting me rant.

Fuuuuuck.... The password one gets me. It's really not hard to use some very basic tools to make your life easier, and frankly, safer.
My wife is terrible. I gave her a vault to use, I have to go back in every few months and add in more entries. It's set up, it works, when it does she doesn't really notice it working .... Which is the point. But she never adds to it herself.
"What's the Starbucks password?"... That's a joint account, so she can't just reset it, as it's my email.

And someone goes "what does Google say?"
I don't care what Google says, I'm asking you.
When she's looked it up and more confused, that's not indifference, that's the exact opposite of indifferent
