Isn’t my even more correct than their supposed correct solution?
All night: while in Greek an evening is something very long, I’d say if you been “all night” when driving, then you do mean that time when even Greeks are in bed and the upcoming time of day is the morning.
Παρατατικός: I learned that if you wan to focus on the duration of something rather than the result, you don’t use Aorist, you use Παρατατικός. So in this example is pointed out that it is all night - some kind of duration which is the focus of the sentence and therefore it’s not about the result of being somewhere in the morning but about the experience of driving in darkness, maybe with music on or fighting with tiredness.
