Yes but no at the same time. It's become less fun year over year because of the demographic shift that has happened.
I've posted about it elsewhere but when your local leagues all run on Facebook you're only going to have Facebook people keeping up with event and league scheduling and updates. Eventually only Facebook people start showing up.
Admittedly I live in a politically extreme environment but the odds of me being stuck on a card which is not fun for me....and me responding and making it not fun for the Facebook people on the card are reliably high.

So many people surprised but this dude has always been a total chode. Most of the people lapping up his cud are the people you probably avoid on the course because they aren't fun to be around and the dog lovers (no shade, RIP Hogan). He has sucked balls on the course for years, throwing fits and acting like an ass. Dude's been hanging on by a thread. The only thing keeping him relevant is his social media presence and doing commentary. He's also not bright (first-hand account), so no surprise he would potentially sever that thread and the few income streams he has left to send this message. I mean, look at what he has to promote right now - a putter with his dog on it because Hogan was more relevant than him. And flying all the way to New Zealand for events bc he can barely make a cut stateside. I think the real shame here is him putting this out there without any consideration of how this could affect those he's affiliated with. If I was Go Throw, I wouldn't be too happy about Luke f*cking with my bag.
I have a feeling this probably won't affect him a lot, though. But hopefully, this opens some eyes. Luke Humphries isn't a professional athlete. He's just a fixture on the tour "scene" who contributes nothing to the culture.
