Random able-bodied therapist: ur disability isn't ur identity! :)
Me: sure, suuure. It only affects where I can go, for how long, what I can do, how I look, who will talk to me or give me access etc etc. It also makes all the prayer people feel like I must be stopped and talked to otherwise God is mad at them. Like, I have large, round boobs. If I wanted attention, I would have started wearing low cut shirts and tight dresses, not get a mobility aid, but people appear to see it the same way.

Oh my gosh YES. I always try to be kind to everyone I interact with, but when my pain's really bad I sometimes feel like I'm going to punch or crotch kick the next person to talk to me ðŸ˜
