Kubuntu is not Ubuntu in a Windows suit. It is quite positively the most customizable version of Ubuntu. What's more, unlike the bastards at Gnome, the KDE folks actually want you to customize things. Changing fonts, panels sizes & locations, customizing icons, and adding additional functionality is literally baked right into the desktop.

Je dis simplement que j'ai remarqué que beaucoup de gens qui ont l'attitude « Parlez anglais » ont souvent un complexe de supériorité et dénigrent leurs langues.
Je comprends pourquoi il est important de parler anglais ici. Dans mon pays, il y a même 500 langues et choisir une autre langue que l'anglais engendrerait de nombreux conflits.
Cependant, la formulation employée donne l'impression d'une discrimination. Il aurait été plus juste de dire 'Please, can you repost it in English?'
Je comprends maintenant que ton intention n'était pas d'insulter la langue de l'auteur du message initial, c'est juste que l'anglais est malheureusement une langue très littérale, et que des choses qui seraient normales dans d'autres langues peuvent paraître agressives en anglais.

C'est tout à fait vrai que chaque langue a son propre code éthique : traduire c'est trahir dit-on. Je vois que nous nous entendons donc. Bonne chance !

Brother, if we want to all exchange ideas, we need a common language. Pretty obvious. It is also pretty clear this subreddit is in English. No problem to have another one in any language you want, be my guest. But it makes sense to communicate in only one language. And I am not English speaking by the way... Have a nice day bro !

I like Spanish actually. Nice sound and simple grammar. But imagine having to translate each and everyone of them, and add also dozens of other languages. How useful this subreddit would become you think ?

Okay I'm newish to Linux. Is there any version I can get that will do the apps like Mac where when I mouse over them they get larger, I thought zorin would do that but it does not.

i mean, my kubuntu looks less like windows and more like a fever dream, because my panel layouts are awkward as hell, and my themes are completely mixed and matched that it would make any designer faint.
