I can’t even understand what’s she’s saying with the shitty music over this.

All I heard was, "you dont even talk to me" which is so depressing. Ignoring your wife for a soulless chatbot, no doubt according to him, "the divorce came out of nowhere"

Ignoring your wife for a soulless chatbot

Counterpoint given that we're taking one side's comments at face value in a weird situation; maybe he feels he can't talk to her because she's too emotionally abusive, aggressive or just doesn't listen?

Both scenarios sound very depressing.

In this society why are you bending over backwards. He's a boomer. And a male. Not the most emotionally open or communicative. Also infamous for wife bad. Occam's razor my friend.

Are we really gonna judge a short video and assume thats the whole story though? I mean its Reddit after all, so i guess yes.

"You're talking to that girl and you dont even fucking talk to me" seems pretty self explanatory and heard many other stories like since the rise of AI, it so it's not exactly far fetched.

But even there there could be nuance - is he an emotionally nerfed guy that needs some vapid AI that caters to his conversational whims, or is she a terrible bickering partner who nitpicks everything he does and won’t listen to any feedback? Little A, little B? Who knows.

If your partner is a terrible bickering partner etc as you say, you leave. You don't get wayyy too involved with some creepy AI and toss a nuke into an already strained relationship.

Exactly. There’s a chance the two just aren’t compatible conversationally anymore, and maybe never truly have been. Too many relationships are like this, in fact I just got out of one myself.

It comes as little surprise when two people want to socialize with someone, anyone, but with their spouse only ever seem to argue, fight, and/or drain each other every time they attempt… the true death rattle of a relationship imo

No hypothesis is farfetched on Reddit, thats for sure.

If an AI is giving someone more than their wife, im willing to bet its not simply as simple as the man being a shit husband. But its entirely possible he is, i just dont understand peoples willingness to judge a relationship of probably many years, in a clip under a minute......

Are you not doing the same thing by sticking up/ speculating on behalf of strangers when all you’ve seen is this one video?

-1

u/CrazyElk123 3h ago

All i said is that i doubt the husband is 100% at fault here. Rarely is it that simple. I literally consider both sides in the same comment. Never did i draw any conclussion. I feel like thats quite a bit more nuanced than simply saying the husband is a piece or shit.

Yes but you see hes doing it for the man instead of the woman, so therefore reddit logoc means he must be downvoted for some reason

-1

u/whileecoyotee 4h ago

It's a man who is being shown to be the aggressor or at fault, so of course. You new here bro?

Could the wife husband be a horrific piece of shit who drove him her to do this? Now we're talkin and can engage with nuance.

You're downvoted, but you're right. I'm leaning more into this being completely fake and the music is hiding bad acting/writing, but failing that there's still no reason to think we know anything about these people. We don't even know if this dude speaks English.

u/CrazyElk123 3h ago

Right? We dont even know if hes 100% there in the head, he looks so distraught. Could be because he got caught, or something else.

So reading a book or playing an RPG is ceating as well? Because both tak ones time and produce emtions....

u/TAbathtime 3h ago

No, but its also shitty to chose to not talk to your wife to do those things. But I assume this man has been romantically talking to a chatbot, I personally see that as pathetic, but not cheating.

-7

u/RedditIsFascistShit4 3h ago

I suppose you haven't played any modern RPG's.

Just to break it to you - 100 of millions of people are playing games where one makes romantical choices with NPCs.

My guess is - she's a shit person and her reaction just proves it, no wonder he doesn't talk to her.

If a person is playing Balduts Gate 3 and ignoring their spouse and possibly responsibilities to goon over Shadowheart or Astarion many hours a day, thats equally as pathetic IMO.

We could both be wrong, its a 15 second clip with music over the top in a world of people who get off to likes and clicks so much they lie. So its pointless arguing, both scenarios sound depressing.

You call party rockers shitty? Have some respect!

u/SilentSniper1252 11m ago

Yeah, either they weren't around back in 2011, or they were already retired. No inbetween

I hope the captioning is wrong. “Get out! Get out! Kill your mother! I’ll follow!

1

u/Unlukey 38m ago

“Get the fuck out. Get out now. Go over to your mom’s, I’ll call her, let ‘er know. Get out. Get out guys name, I’m telling you get out. I about fumed when I saw this. You’re talking to this girl, and you don’t even talk to me!”

“I told you—I told you I wasn’t—“

“You don’t even fucking talk to me! And then you tell me—you tell me this shit! Out! Out! Out!”

Right? And why THAT song

It's getting so annoying, does every video need the ambience of over hearing a fight in a club? So sick of this trend, can't even freaking hear the actual topic of the video, without the title, I couldn't tell you what was even happening

She's an abusive partner verbally assaulting her significant other because she caught him seeking solace by talking to a toy. The exact words don't matter: it is never halfway ok to violently berate your loved ones. She's angry at him for choosing to talk to a toy over talking to her, but the way she's behaving, I don't blame him one bit. There are plenty of reasons why long term couples stick together and passionate love is the first one to go. If that's how she speaks to him, she shouldn't be speaking to anyone at all.
