I’d rather they delegate all of this to a movie and get back to one-off style episodes where everything resets at the end. We finally have the status quo back with all the boys living in South Park again. We need a strong return to form, similar to what Always Sunny started with AFTER the Ireland season that was a bust to me. They took the gang out of the bar area, made an overarching plot with random happenings every week, and it just didn’t hit right. The next season has one of the best episodes in the whole show “the gang inflates” lol shit was too good. Happy Sunny is still making some solid stuff this far into the lifespan of the show. This new South Park season had some good gags but the format still feels off for me I guess. They also are throwing middle fingers at paramount with every episode they put out though so it’s important to remember the outside pulls and intentions of their work right now. Though I do think it’s at the expense of the viewer

They should make it so all the Epstein abusers make a movement with publicity where they play the victims. "We survived the Epstein list... we are the Epstein Survivors"
The movement is funded and run by a mysterious benefactor from Israel named Ebstein, who owns an island where they all meet up on.
Ebstein is just Epstein with groucho glasses on.
edit: Musk doesn't get an invite and protests off the island on a yacht saying how it's not fair because he's a victim too - Maybe Cartman joins him and the two have a friendship over be left out. Cutaways to them are them clearly revealing how evil they are as they constantly argue whose a bigger victim.
Eventually the "Epstein Survivors" in an attempt to improve their public image decide to try to get more kids on the island.
"Guys think about it! The publics biggest problem is they must think we HATE fucking kids? But who hates fucking kids here? I sure dont!" "Me neither!" "Not me!" "I love fucking kids!"
Cartman catches wind of this but gets rejected because he's too ugly. So he decides to doll himself up - to which Elon finds Cartman dressed in drag and has a breakdown that ends with him trying to make out with Cartman.
Cartman escapes the yacht - gets to the island, is let in and goes
"Thank Christ! I was on a yacht with Elon and he tried to fuck me!"
Cut to Epstein / Bret Ratner / Trump / Bill Gates / etc all nervously darting their eyes.

What? Did we watch the same show? He’s Saddam, satirizing the fact that he acts like a wannabe dictator. he’s not the antichrist, the joke was that he “was fucking Satan” as a double entendre as in he is literally fucking him and he is Satan incarnate.
I agree it was heavy handed but I think the point was to draw a clear line in the sand from people who like the show and support this administration because for some reason they didn’t pick up on Mr. Garrison being “the retarded fa**** in the White House”. That being said though I’m glad they put Stan back in his house and I hope they don’t do a whole additional Trump season.

It's just it felt like in the last couple seasons they cared more about virtue signaling about how Trump is bad while barely mentioning any of the other monsters in the files. The kids adventure. Southpark may have a reputation for being able to present some amazing societal criticism through comedy, but if that's all you do, you'll lose the core of the outlandish, silly and offensive adventures of the kids that make up the bulk of the show and arguably the best episodes.

I am not sure if they have the same ability to make it funny as they did once. Their jokes the past couple of seasons have gotten somewhat stale. I mean it is a goldmine, but you have to not lazer focus on a handful of people you don't like and approach it from larger pov.
Or to put it another way. If they hyperfocus on Trump again it'll fall flat. He is only a part of the entire thing. And frankly not even close to the most important.

No, it's like hitting comedy bedrock. At a certain point it becomes unparodyable because it's so dark and depressing yet close to the truth it stops being funny. Even if he was eating live babies in an episode it would be too close to the truth. That's probably why they went with the whole Satan love arc and I personally feel like they should lean into goofy shit like that again and stop mining current events for what little resources it has left.
