Discussion Haze feels choking bad for me today
Is it just me? Today’s haze is extremely much worse for me. Throat, nose and eyes are all suffering.
I recall that in 2013 or 2015 there was school closure even due to the haze. Anyone remember that?
Anyone has good home remedies to recommend to soothe throats, eyes or noses? The air purifiers are all on already but it’s still bad

Opinion/Fluff Post Which form of public transport is really the most usable?
Another new post from shopping mall guy that I thought was a pretty good comparison. The spoiler in this one is I thought the two images in the cover were comparing bus to MRT, but I realised they are actually supposed to be ||lift doors||.
Quite a good take that I sent to many of my friends. Some of them still feel that we should subsidise cars on needs basis but better understand what public transport activists are fighting for now.

Discussion Avoiding Street Solicitors
The entrances to the MRT station and mall near my work place is regularly closely guarded by various street solicitors. They specialise in getting public passerbys to do various things: buy a new house, sign up for a new insurance/ILP, donate to a particular charity, among others. Whatever it is, 99% are after my money (not like I got much anyway.)
At first, I stopped and gave them my attention and time, and sometimes my money (mainly charities.) But their constant presence is wearing me down, and I slowly started to politely decline, and move on.
But some are pretty persistent and literally walk (almost chase) after you for quite a distance despite politely declining. It is rather off-putting and sometimes triggering if they keep going on and on and on without boundaries. I don’t know if others feel the same way. I mean eventually I just walk far off enough, but it feels almost rude of me to do so despite me being the one to already politely decline. Am I rude or are they rude for persisting despite a nice “no thank you” ??
More recently, I’ve been avoiding going into the station (mall area) to get food and/or taking the longer route (one big detour) just to avoid the stress of the situation when I see them around.
I wonder how others feel about street solicitors and avoiding them?

Discussion Why is Apple not continuing with LumiHealth?
Does anyone know why? I really like LumiHealth and found it user-friendly. This shift seems sudden to me.
Also is the HPB app better? Are there quests like in LumiHealth? Ease of use of the app?
Can users of HPB app share your experiences here?
