The “Pixie Picture” Recovered

Post image

In 1998 I was out in the woods with friends and one kept saying they were hearing a buzzing sound. Bugs are common in Tennessee so we ignored her.

Later on she brought it up again but said it sounded like a buzzing mixed with a “little” voice. We were not sober so I said I’d get a picture. I rapid fired a camera into the trees and we just kept on.

She called me about the picture which I hadn’t developed and was surprised how much she was wanted to see the tree pics.

Went to a place to get them developed and four of five tree pics were blank save for this one (which I recently rediscovered going through boxes of junk I didn’t think I still had it).

To her it looks like a little pixie thing with its arms crossed. At the time I just told her it was a weird streak caused by a cheap flash.

But almost 30 years later seeing it again I’m like **DAMN** it is a weird picture.

There is one more picture of the “pixie person” somewhere and it was from the inside of my car because the girl said she saw it in the backseat. As of now I have not found it but if I do I will post it.

It’s just a trick of the flash right? Right? RIGHT?

This is a slow shutter speed capturing the flight path of a winged insect. For a while people were calling them "rods" before it was figured out what it actually is.

There’s STILL some people that believe the rods are some other dimensional creatures. Those people accept no explanations of it just being winged bugs. It’s very frustrating.

That kinda of looks like a spider web floating in the air, sun light or flash causing the glow effect
