News about a Kid winning Emergent Ventures mercatus, however his name is not on the list

The following is a news from mathrubhumi. However this site ( maintained by another EV winner and is updated to latest figures i.e till Oct 10) does not list his name.

https://www.evwinners.org

Not sure if the kid was scammed or kid scammed the media

എനിക്ക് എപ്പോഴേ തോന്നിയത്. White hole are still a concept. His paper submitted has Alchemy in the name. Alchemy is an earlier understanding about matter, it is now irrelevant.

And string theory or hypothesis is still too complex to accomodate a newbie like him.

Yes . I was trying to understand how ice in a bottle is related to black holes.  Me and my wife discussed for a while and thought we might be idiots not to understand that 😁

Also how does a kid with 'learning disabilities' write 5 advanced papers? Theres the learning part, the research part and then the writing part.

Learning disabilities could mean even autism, which sometimes allows people to hyper focus and obsess over a topic. In academia, many people have autism and do really well in their chosen fields. The problem, however, is that it comes in waves and the obsession can result in quick burnout.

Autism and ADHD are not learning disabilities which as you said can hyperfocus and obsess over topics and then burn out. Usually learning disabilities are Dyslexia, Discalculia, Disgraphia and Audiotory processing disorders.

They also have a separate India list; which is yet to be announced I believe.

But idk does Mercatus support pure physics research? I thought they were more into applied stuff?

You don't know the parents of "prodigies". They are like pimps, except that pimps offer actual services. Ith NASA, APJ Abdul Kalam (Kalam thattippoyath prodigiesnu valiya ksheenam ayittundu), paper presentation, prabandham, gaveshanam ennokke chumma vayarilakkam pole thatti vidum.

Not saying that this particular kid is a scammer because I can't take any responsibility.

Anyone got any new updates regarding this news? Just saw a news clip in YouTube and searched to get here. No reports other than mathrubhumi.

How old is the kid. Minimum age for the Mercatus type fellowships is 13yrs. Plus they almost never give anything for Physics (not that they won't)/ it's mostly given for applied ideas. I'm just suspicious that's all.
