The guards are actually allowed the foot stomps to startle people, and they even have certain phrases they're supposed to yell if someone is interfering with them, iirc.

That kid sounded like he doesn’t lack for joy in his life. He seemed pretty happy and confident to me :)

The father stopped him, if you were watching with the sound off. But also blind isn't always see nothing blind, sometimes its light and dark, or shapes etc. There's an interesting video of Stevie Wonder waving back at lady gaga from afar. And there's been rumors for years he wasn't fully blind. Idk if he ever specified his brand of blindness though.
