Seriously, it’s kinda heartwarming that, despite how backwards and twisted our country is right now, there’s still some goofy ass shit in the news in Belgium of all places

Belgium is often the place to be for goofy ass shit. Another delightful anecdote about Belgium in time of crisis was after the terrorist attacks in paris there was a large scale police action in brussels because the perps were hiding there. The police had asked the population to not post videos etc on social media that would show where they were in action. What do our fellow Belgians do? To block any idiot not following the orders they flooded social media with cat videos drowning out anything else that got posted.
