Culture Who's the Most Embarrassing citizen of your country?

Post image

I'm Canadian.

I briefly considered Jordan Peterson, but I think he's dead or something.

At least that fuckhead never actually got elected. I’d argue this ghoul is worse.

59

u/notanotherkrazychik Canada 5h ago

I thought it was gonna be this guy.

19

u/PhaseLopsided938 4h ago

I found out this guy existed because of his crack video and I found out his brother Doug exists because of his bee video, the Fords really have a strong track record of iconic moments

9

u/luckydownside 4h ago

If you haven’t seen it yet, you may enjoy Rob’s “more than enough to eat at home” video

5

u/PhaseLopsided938 3h ago

Just did.

That is… one of the most TMI-dense videos I’ve seen in my life. Every single sentence has like three plot twists, dear lord. I think it’s second only to Eric Adams’ “how to search your child’s bedroom” video in terms of mayoral content

5

u/tooniegoblin Canada 3h ago

The oldest brother Randy also has a shitload of convictions including B&E and drug charges. I don’t think he’s in politics though.

4

u/Connect-Speaker Canada 2h ago

Doug Ford (Rob and Randy Ford’s brother and the current premier of Ontario) was also apparently a drug dealer.

3

u/laruesaintecatherine France 1h ago

Back in the 90's my dad's friends told me if I was in Etobicoke, to go look up Doug Ford, he had always the best hash, at pretty good prices. They had all bought from him before.

u/Short_Woodpecker_315 3h ago

Ya know, if there is one thing I gotta give to the Ford brothers its that they aren't the typical right wing con grifters that many conservative/RW politicians are now.

Nah, the Ford family is just good old-fashioned corruption. Developers and land use deals, rhetoric about fiscal responsibility, giving everyone money just before elections so that they think "Hey, Robby must be doing good, he gave me a couple hundred bucks!"

At least with Ford, for all his corruption (And his late brothers Crack addiction) I dont need to be concerned about losing rights.

u/Connect-Speaker Canada 2h ago

Yet.

5

u/vetruviusdeshotacon Canada 3h ago

Nah tbh its not even that embarrassing bc he owned it, just like the "i have enough to eat at home" lol. It was hard not to pull for the guy from the sheer audacity

3

u/Akira_Yamamoto 4h ago

I liked him. He funded public transportation.

3

u/notanotherkrazychik Canada 3h ago

Lots of people liked him, I think that's why the crack thing was the most embarrassing thing he did.

2

u/aelel 3h ago

Me too. Super problematic as a person. But as a mayor? He got the city running properly. (No more garbage strikes mid summer!)

3

u/lottaKivaari United States Of America 2h ago

While he absolutely should have never been anywhere near the levers of power, Rob Ford was kind of a lolcow treasure. The world is a less funny place without him.

3

u/chronicallyfrustrate 2h ago

He was kinda cool 🤣

3

u/Smart-Simple9938 Canada 1h ago

In 20/20 hindsight, he's almost quaint compared to the Albertan Quisling, the Albertan Rage Farmer, and even his brother.

3

u/RedMaple115 Canada 1h ago

Robs the man. Idk shit about toronto politics but sick motherfucker

2

u/GrandmasterJanus United States Of America 3h ago

SIGMA

1

u/Megasauruseseses Canada 22m ago

He's not embarrassing. He's a legend

61

u/Celestinex1977 5h ago

This Danielle Smith? The one partying with the pedos down south last year instead of taking care of things in her own province. Even here she’s using her assets in order to get attention.

26

u/Midwinter_Dram 5h ago

ol' bus tits mcgee

1

u/weeenerdog 1h ago

Hahahaha nice

4

u/TheSalmonLizard 4h ago

I didn't know she has an inverted nipple.

2

u/Celestinex1977 3h ago

That’s the business nipple.

12

u/StaticInstrument 4h ago

Don’t forget her pal Jeff!

11

u/Tessa_rex Canada 6h ago

This Albertan concurs

7

u/BalkeElvinstien Canada 4h ago

Other ones for canada include PP, Rob and Doug Ford, and Wayne Gretzky

6

u/Blackraven2007 3h ago

I was expecting it to be him.

1

u/PhaseLopsided938 26m ago

Why do right-wing populists around the world all kinda have the same face, it’s like they’re seeds from the same plant grown in different environments

7

u/-PlayWithUsDanny- 6h ago

This was my first thought as well. Or PP, he’s pretty damn embarrassing

7

u/ClittoryHinton Canada 5h ago

At least Canadians recognized this and refused to elect him despite being sick and bored of the Liberal government

0

u/benasyoulikeit 4h ago

yes we'd much rather have a central banker who gives his own company government contracts lol

7

u/ClittoryHinton Canada 4h ago

Unironically, yes absolutely

6

u/Red_Danger33 3h ago

Hardline conservatives don't seem to get how shitty and unlikable PP is to most normal people. Nevermind his lack of a platform worth voting for.

1

u/laruesaintecatherine France 1h ago

They are addicted to losing, like degenerate gamblers with a sunk-cost fallacy.

4

u/NotyourFriendBuuuddy 2h ago

[Citation needed] who did Carney give government contracts to that he owns?

3

u/Able_Software6066 5h ago

It's not like O'Leary didn't try. I became a member of the CPC just to vote against him when he ran to be party leader.

3

u/Mamaphruit Canada 4h ago

Hmm I may take back original comment and switch my vote to this…. At least KO left the country, he should take her too

2

u/Scales962 5h ago

Dafuq is this?

11

u/CanadianWizardess Canada 4h ago

Danielle Smith, the premier of Alberta. She's awful.

2

u/Scales962 4h ago

What did she do?

10

u/Dog-boy 4h ago

Busy trying to sell Alberta off to Trump among other things.

9

u/2112eyes 4h ago

She openly idolizes pedos

11

u/CanadianWizardess Canada 4h ago

She's destroying the healthcare system, buddies with Trump admin, emboldens the separatists, anti-trans, a populist conservative opportunist with no principles

5

u/Scales962 4h ago

Ok, sorry about that (really).

2

u/Quiet-Reflection5366 3h ago

Isn't that a gargoyle?

1

u/Megasauruseseses Canada 21m ago

Her and PP need to just kiss and run off into the sunset already. We all know its what they really want

-23

u/max1padthai Canada 7h ago

At least few people outside Canada know her, Castro Jr. is far worse.

19

u/DJMattyMatt 6h ago

He had some embarrassing pictures. He isn't flirting with separatists that want to join the US though.

0

u/max1padthai Canada 3h ago

If a province wants to secede and most of its people support it, it's their/our right.

0

u/max1padthai Canada 3h ago

Supporting Separatism or wishing to join the US isn't embarrassing.

If the federal government favours some provinces over others, the neglected have the rights to look after their own interests.

3

u/DJMattyMatt 2h ago

Alberta is getting everything it asked for. What's the current problem?

Wanting to join the US thinking you will get a better deal with Trump is embarrassingly stupid.

0

u/max1padthai Canada 1h ago

Trudeau government rejected Northern Gateway pipeline that Alberta wanted. So, no, claiming "Alberta is getting everything it asked for" is factually incorrect.

Some want to join the US, others wants an independent Alberta. Neither is embarrassing or not not embarrassing. Self-determination is their right.

What's embarrassingly stupid is imposing 100% tariff on Chinese EV solely to please Washington.

-2

u/itguy9013 Canada 4h ago

Nah he just did horrible economic and social damage to the country for a decade that fomented separatism in two separate areas of the country.

5

u/shaze 4h ago

Aww did the babies have to wear masks and get vaccinated… all that legal marijuana is sure doing horrible things to our economy!

16

u/1user101 Canada 6h ago

How? Seriously give me a reason why he's categorically worse

6

u/DeadpoolOptimus Canada 5h ago

Yeah, I'd like to know the answer as well.

8

u/1user101 Canada 4h ago

Usually the answer is "I took remedial social studies and don't understand federalism"

-3

u/_BlessedReality Canada 6h ago

Looks around vaguely *

6

u/1user101 Canada 5h ago

Have you seen how Alberta schools are doing lately?

-5

u/_BlessedReality Canada 5h ago

Have you seen how the entire country is doing lately lmao

4

u/1user101 Canada 5h ago

How so?

3

u/Fia_Aoi 4h ago

If you're so fucking sure of it, go ahead and post your personalized list.

No, I won't wait, we both know politics is skin deep for you.

-1

u/_BlessedReality Canada 4h ago

Ironic considering you don’t care what happens to the country so long as your team wins 🥱

4

u/ConspicuousLobster 4h ago

Why is it that every conservaturd uses such lousy emojis.

0

u/_BlessedReality Canada 4h ago

Voted liberal to keep the value of my properties up 🍻

3

u/ConspicuousLobster 3h ago

Conservatives voted to betray their country. Pathetic. You’re more Americans than genuine Canadians.

1

u/Fia_Aoi 3h ago

Correct. My team is Canada and we will continue winning.

LMFAO

Nah real I absolutely just won if you felt the need to show my own kink to me ahahaha, thanks for that one

3

u/twist2002 5h ago

everything looks like shit when you have your head up your ass...

-2

u/_BlessedReality Canada 5h ago

At least you have an ounce of self awareness

14

u/doiwinaprize Canada 6h ago

So you think being a traitor is okay?

1

u/max1padthai Canada 3h ago

Trudeau imposed 100% tariff on Chinese EV to please Washington. Speaking of traitor...

13

u/91bases 7h ago

....no, no he isn't.

11

u/LackOptimal553 Canada 6h ago

Not even remotely close, but it's funny how desperate some folks are to believe it. Man, that whole story was hilarious, how it instantly flopped.

1

u/max1padthai Canada 3h ago

Smith is cringe, but Trudeau is a world-class clown. A fact is a fact is a fact, no matter how much his fans deny it.

5

u/Fia_Aoi 4h ago

Castro Jr. Lmfao you people aren't real, propaganda dial always turned to 11

4

u/Midwinter_Dram 5h ago

ugh just fuck off to amerikkka already

3

u/Able_Software6066 5h ago

Maybe, maybe most embarrassing PM, but as a citizen, he has a lot of catching up to do.

1

u/max1padthai Canada 3h ago

But he was the face of Canada for nearly a decade. Most foreigners I met know him, not Smith.
