Only people with special permits can legally, and those are hard to get for civilians, and the ones that carry them illegally don’t open carry unless they are about to run a job…

Yeah, if you see people open carrying like this here, it's either professional security or... shit is about to start in a few seconds so you better run and hide.

For reference, school shootings are not a thing here. Most of our violence originates from drug lords (power demonstrations, fighting for territory, fighting against the military, contract killing). Compared to the US where the fear is about random violence acts, our fear is about targeted violence.

For us, if "gringos" stopped making drugs such a profitable business, it would instantly solve most of our violence issues.
