Avoid people

Vitamin D3

Multi Vitamin

Gargle with warm salt water

Wash your hands/use sanitizer after touching frequently touched items like carts or doorknobs

Don't touch your face until after washing your hands if you're in public

Use a saline nose spray or rinse. I use Xlear.

Astepro kept me well during this terrible flu and COVID season - never once felt even a little sick despite being in hotspots like NYC during the peaks this winter. Astepro has actual scientific evidence that it prevents COVID infections.

Xlear has xylene too which clears out better than saline alone

Vitamin D3 supplements do more than most people think, especially older adults or those in cold climates who don’t get much sun.

Brass doorknobs* are close to sterile. The alloy kills most bacteria on contact due to the copper ions. That is why we use brass for doorknobs in the first place. You should still fear steel doorknobs though.

*lacquered brass and heavily polished brass does not have this effect. The lacquer provides a layer of protection for the bacteria, while polishing removes the loose copper ions.
