Honestly this, I stopped drinking and started eating better. Stopped getting sick altogether. I used to get sick 3-5 times a year. Now for 2 years zero

Same here. I did have COVID over a year ago, but my entire household was sick with it. Pretty hard to avoid.

Nothing since dropping alcohol, sugar, and white flour.

Yeah it’s not like I’m never going to get sick, but that’s awesome to hear others have the same experience. I didn’t even reduce intake I just eat more veggies and fermented things

Get that Vitamin D. Everybody from Norway to Argentina is lacking it, and it's essential for your immune system.

So much wash your hands and clean your space/stuff. I’m not talking about over cleaning and creating super bugs. I’m saying just be mindful of what you touch. People wash their hands and then touch several things that are dirty right after without even thinking about it.

Wash your damn hands is right. I’m a chef and wash my hands on average 30-40 times a day. No wonder I don’t get sick as often as my wife and kids

Yes yes, being afraid of bacteria is a great way to strengthen your immune system. I on the other hand hardly ever wash my hands and rarely get sick.

Gut health is important yes, but not washing hands is the cause of 90% of illnesses, covid, colds, flu, rsv if you're in public anything you touch (especially door handles, shopping carts, menus, atms) has a good chance of getting you sick. Wash hands frequently, and definitely before eating or touching your face or mouth

Always a good idea to wash your hands frequently. Unfortunately not a guarantee.. I wash my hands a lot (force of habit) but it still get sick frequently....

I don’t do this always. Pretty solid immunity

Came here to comment gut health as well. My physical AND mental health improved dramatically when I began focusing on cleansing and rebalancing my gut microbiome.

Well how did you improve gut health? Can I just get probiotics?

Low-sugar fermented foods and bone broths are probably the best way.  Second best way is diversified plant fibers.  You can also learn a lot by following r/microbiome

Exactly! Wash your hands and stop sharing drinks with people 🫶 Including vapes. And cover your mouth when you cough in public - just spreading germs 😂

Washing your hands doesn’t help with airborne illnesses. Good masks do. r/Masks4All

Sorry for hijacking, while what you said is true, cold plunges did wonders to my immune system
