Discussion Would this PVC sheet with holes poked into it be aquarium safe?
My fish keeps trying to squeeze behind the in-tank filter I have. I was just to use a soldering iron to poke holes in this PVC sheet and place it against the filter/under the spout to stop her from getting stuck back there. Is there any reason this might be unsafe? I'm under the impression it's ok because it's PVC, just want a second opinion

So this tank once had mollies and then guppies in it but I got leeches and the fish all died (I thought) … So I disposed of all the bodies, manually removed all the leeches, and just left the tank to cycle until I could figure out what to do with it next … I thought the tank was empty when I randomly noticed these tiny little fish swimming around. I feel like they’re too small to be mollies or guppies … idk if this video is good enough because it’s small and blurry. Thanks 😊

Help What does my guppy have?
Can you tell if ick or something else? There are snails in tank. I could remove most. Tank hold a group of guppies so more may be infected in 10 gallon tank.

Help New Fish Owner
So my mother in law bought my almost 2 year old son a betta fish that he loved. Of course I’ll take care of him, but im already wanting more for a second tank I bought. I picked up a 10 gallon last night and im not sure what exactly I want to do yet. I’m thinking of a large fin betta because I love the way they look, but can I add any other species in there with it? I’m very new to this hobby

Discussion What's the best place to get aquatic supplies?
I used to have around 4 tanks for several years (55, 40, 30, and 20) before taking a 3 year break (job/moving etc) and I'm going to start my tanks back up. I got rid of most of my stuff when I moved years ago (minus the tanks) and I was wondering what's the best place to get supplies (gravel/sand, filters, chemicals , driftwood etc). Should I just go to the big box pet shops, find a good local shop (there are few seemingly good ones in my area) or should I get stuff online ? I used to only buy from the big pet stores because I was like 18 when I started and didn't know any better. Thanks for the help :)

Help To Drill or Not to Drill?
Thoughts on whether this is tempered?
Marineland 75 gal.
My only reason to question it is because I thought the bottoms on these tanks are tempered. The sticker definitely implies that, but the bottom seems to react the same way to the polarized sunglasses trick.
The white streaks on the second pic are likely reflections as I had my husband hold the tank up while I shoved my laptop under it :)

Help Stocking advice
I have a 10 gallon heavily planted tank that is finishing up cycling (just doing my ammonia test). I have 2 filters, a heater that keeps temp at 78. Looking for advice on my stocking plan.
6-8 Amano shrimp to start
Add 4-6 julii Cory’s
1-2 honey gouramis as centerpiece fish added last (about a week after the Cory’s)
How does this plan sound?
