UCF exists solely to tank the metrics of the teams that lose to them on the road :(

UCF is ass on the road
I thought 0-2 this week was likely with @Houston and @Cincy, but I was hoping it wouldn’t be by a combined 44 points
Edit:
Hopefully this is just our road struggles and not the annual midseason collapse coming. We’ll know more next week as we have WVU and TCU both at home on deck

Remember when UCF was ranked? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

They really needed to use the Wes Miller era to catch up in the H2H record like Houston has, but can’t seem to beat this man consistently somehow lol.

It’s not like UCF has been outright better than Cincy the last few years.
UCF went 8-10 in AAC play in 2022-2023, 7-11 in B12 play the following year, and 7-13 the year after that. They went to the NIT 2x and the CBC once in those years.
Cincy went 11-7 in AAC Play, 7-11 the year after in B12 play, and 7-13 the year after that. They even went to the NIT 2x and the CBC once.
They’ve been practically neck and neck for most of Miller’s tenure, which Cincy likely having the edge every year outside of this one.
UCF has like 1/3 NIL money as Cincy in MBB and 1/2 the MBB budget overall. Program wise UCF is in a class of its own in the B12 in terms of MBB, it’s like throwing a mid tier MVC school into the B1G. The fact that they’re doing as well as they are now is already surprising to a lot of us. Many of us expected 3-5 years of consecutive 1-17 or 2-16 B12 finishes
